I decided to move onto the leading edge of the left wing while I wait for my order of clecos. I set W-701 skin into the cradle and removed the vinyl. I numbered the ribs and placed them into the cradle one at a time and started clecoing from the leading edge every second hole.
Once the ribs were clecoed, I clecoed the leading edge to the main wing, and drilled the new holes for the two rib flanges just outboard of the tie down, using the main spar as a guide for the #30 holes.
I slid the W-408-I rib into place. Prior to doing that, I made sure that I ran a line in the flange so I knew I was centered on the flange before drilling. Once I could see the line centre in the main spar attach holes, I drilled with a #30 and clecoed.
The instructions call for the marking of the tie-down hole...on my skin, it's pre-drilled. I'll double check that though.
